'86 rear E brake question

A bit of background, I am putting the rear control arms and complete brakes off an '86 944 on my fiberglass street Buggy. In rebuilding the E brakes I found on the right side what I think is called a support clip for the bow. It snaps into the trailing arm right where the bow and swan attaches to the E brake cable.

This piece is missing on the left side and the right side one is badly rusted and cracked. I do not see a replacement listed on this site. Is it really important or will it be fine without?

Thanks Merv

I don't know if it is an essential part, but here's the PN. I know that F C P has it for sale.

That's a disguised name for another auto parts store.... Pelican is very touchy about another biz names for a valid reason.

I did a Google search and came up with... 0.

Anyway maybe that part is not important. I know one thing for sure is that the amount of galvanic corrosion I found between it and the control arm was alarming!
