no voltage

I have no voltage at my aux.air valve connector,what could be the problem?
yes ign. was on.

The unit is wired through the DME or fuel pump relay, it is in parrallel with the fuel pump, so it won't be powered unless the engine is running or cranking.

I was checking my idle stabilisor on my 86 a few weeks ago and it had 10 volts with the key on but not cranking or runnind either one. I guess the aux air valve on an 83-85 could be different though.
