when changing torsion bars, how much diff in the installed measurement, compareing say a 24 mm bar replaced with a 28 mm bar to obtain the same ride height. when removing the arms and measuring to the ground. has anyone done this before ? is there a rule of thumb measurement?

There is a good post with the link to get a detailed description of how to do this. Go back or search for "951 height" it has a link to a 944 site that has exploded view and details. Good luck
