Transmission Grinding

I have an 87 924s, and everything is running fairly well now, except for the transmission. I replaced the original one in 1999 with a rebuilt transmission, and now this one has the tendency grind from 1st to 2nd, when i accelerate quickly. I was wondering if replacing the synchros would solve this problem, and if so, how much a procedure like that would cost. If anyone has any ideas on this, i would appreciate the info, thanks!

Never had the 16J or K trans apart, but your thinking about the synconizers is what I would think once I made sure that the clutch cyl was bleed, & the clutch releasing all the way.
