Under Dash Hose
Years ago when I inherited my father-in-laws 1983 944, I cleaned out the old alarm system mess of wiring that no longer did anything, and I came across this hose that came through the firewall and under the dash on the drivers side. It wasn't connected to anything, so I cleared it out. Removing this hose didn't affect how the car drove or how any ventilation system worked. Does anyone know what this hose attached to? Am I driving a Time Bomb by not having it attached to anything?

Hmmm, how do I delete this duplicate post? I clicked on Edit but I don't see anything stating "Delete".
Thanks, a dummy |

I don't know the older models very well but possibly a drain hose for the sunroof or the cowling?
Can you delete the subject and post content? |

Hmmm, drain hose. I’ve washed the car many times and luckily never saw any interior leaking. Why would a drain hose come inside the cabin? But why not, as Porsche seems to do odd things
