944 S2 Timing Belt DIY?
Any good links to DIY for 944s2 timing belt? Trying to bring old car back to life!

Its the same as the 8V engines, and uses the auto tensioner. Lots of youtube videos, guides out there if you search. Consider doing a full front engine reseal (upper/lower balance shaft front seals/race, front main, oil pump, possibly front cam seal) while you are in there if you have oil leaks (most do). There are separate guides for how to replace those seals out there as well (including the additional parts you will need)

There's a pretty decent video in German (with English subtitles) which shows a 944 S2 timing belt replacement. It glosses over a few things, but overall is quite helpful. I used that and the Clark's links you've already been given, plus a few other reference videos to get the job done on my recently acquired 944S.
