correct muffler for an 89 944 base model 2.7
Is an Ansa PR1447 the right part for my newly acquired 89 944?
My car has a manual trans. Only the radio is modified. Everything else is stock. I’m coming up with 94411120300 for the muffler donut gasket. Is that correct? Thanks all. Its been a hawt minute since I sorted out one of these. |

There were 3 flavors of 944 1989: 2.4 turbo, 2.7L and 3.0L.
Which one is yours? I believe, your is 2.7L. Right? According to PP the muffler is right fit. The gasket, you mentioned, is also for 2.7L. |

I usually cross check a few sites for part numbers and years. If you don't have PET katalog yet, download it from Porsche site : HERE.

Suggestion: Instead of guessing on the Pelican Parts part, just call them and speak to their Porsche parts expert. They’ll know.

2.7 use the same muffler as the S1 and S2, with the added resonator.
