Painting a 944 Door interior
Has anyone ever done all the work involved with removing doors, taking out glass, handles, mirrors, panels, that needs to be done before painting the doors? I'm a little hesitant to remove wiring, will any thing need to be left in the door? I have electric mirrors and door locks. The handles and mirrors will both be removed which I understand involves removing the window and mechanism, is this something that can be done without a shop's assistance?

Well you can strip it all out..... but you will still be left with all the electrical wiring.
But you can get away with just masking the internal components. If you keep the window and all the motors in the door you can mask of that stuff. Have fun.
