I'm getting my transmission rebuilt and would like to install a torque bias differential. My transmission is over at JP motorsports and he recommends a Gaurd differential he claims there stronger than a quaife differential. Please rennlister I need your help on deciding which one it the better bang for the buck he priced them both and they were both the same price for the gaurd and quaife diff. I have never heard of gaurd differentials and before I lay down $1395 for a differential I want to know what my fellow porsche buddies have to say. He swears by this differential and claims there so much "Stronger" than Quaife. Has anyone heard of them or is it just me?

like i said before quaife is state-of-the-art and is pretty much the racers' choice.
sounds like he might have some interest in selling this "guard" diff. get the quaife. |

have heard of quaife, good things, & have seen both advertised. Quaife has a web site, don't know about gard. Check them out to see differences in design & materials used, & ask mechanic about references from people who use gard.
wish I could give opinion, but have considered quaife in past, now I'm undecided. have run neither one. drew1 |
