ok, as I told you guys in my previous post I am looking into changing my shocks out. While I was thinking about what I wanted to do with them I was working on one of my other hobbies, 3d computer graphics andanimation. What I began thinking about was creating a computer animated video of the procedure to replace my shocks before I actually did it, that way I would have a better understanding of what I was doing. Kind of a step by step walk through of how to do the replacement. Like what they have in Haynes Manuals- a description of what you are doing, and a motion picture of how to do it. If I made such videos (high quality) would anybody be interested in seeing them to learn how to do a job themselves? If so what are the types of repairs you would like to be able to see? what would you like to see in a video like that? would you like it more if it were interactive (you could click on a bolt to make it come out) My current plan is to create a web page with all of these videos on it so that you can do a quick search and watch a repair before you go out and do it yourself. The great thing about computer graphics is that you can get any camera angle so you can tell exactly what is going on. Basically I want to know if this interests anyone. Thank you for your input.

I think that a lot of people have been waiting for something like that. Especially for the more complex jobs like the clutch, turbo swap, etc.

I think there'd be much higher demand, than you might think.

Ofcourse limited anyway you look at it, but how many people check a post titled "My idea"?
