i am very seriously considering getting boxter rims for my 84 944. i heard i would have to get wheel spacers. has anyone done that, what would i need. would the wheel spacers through the car off balance or wear out the wheel bearing faster. any help would be greatly appreciated.

you mean these?
![]() if you get the 993 "technology" wheels (turbo twists) that look better imho, you can get 17" replicas that cost only around $1100/set and have the early offset, so no spacers needed. ![]() -------------- it's all the wheels... |

i am looking for rims like this. theses are 16x6 front with 50mm offset and 17x6 rear with 40mm offset. i like the look but im not sure about the wheel spacing in the front and/or rear. http://images.honesty.com/imagedata/h/051/35/30513533.jpg
