Post Air/fuel gauge mounting...

I'm contemplating mounting it either on the a-pillar, with a guage pod, or where the clock is with an early car. I'll post pics. when I get done.

Sorry, it's an autometer.

I wanna mount it where the clock is, it fits, and it's surrounding is the same color (metallic grey) as the stock "gauge pod".

However, I wouldn't have a clock in my car if I did that. Thinking about getting a Blaupunkt stereo (the display on my sony quit), then I wouldn't have a problem taking the stock clock out.

Question

Here's a question for you 944 connoisseaurs, what is the little yellow arrow on the RPM meter for? I can't make sense of when it comes on and off related to the rpm. It usually turns on between 2 and 3 thousand RPM .. Anyone know?

On an early model, you can put it in place of the a/c fan control-in between the oil pressure and clock...the a/c control can be moved into the glove compartment...I'd like to know what you end up doing...Cus
