i want to hear YOUR car engine!

Hello, (and sorry for the cross-posting but i want this to get out to everyone)

on my web site are the sounds of various racing cars. i also have the sounds of my 924 engine, and my friend's Acura. i would LOVE to have a full catalogue of the sounds of ALL the Porsche engines. not only do i think this would be fun... but it would be nice to hear what different intake, engine, and exhaust modifications sound like.

if anyone is interested in having their Porsche motor music put on the web for all to hear... then please feel free to e-mail me, or respond to this message. i'd love to have every Porsche from a 356 to a 911 GT1 represented.

i will not turn down any entries. your Porsche motor sound will be included, as well as your information.

the URL is fine. do you have some security setting on your browser or firewall?

recording? you can use a tape recorder. if you want to do it the old fashioned way.. mail me a tape if you don't know how to put the stuff into a computer.

I'm not able to send it from my school, I will send it once I get home (at least 6 hours from now), then you'll have it.

I have about 6, taken from different places around/inside/outside the car. They're either during auto-x runs, or with the car stationary, choose the ones you like the most.

I've converted them to mp3 format, should have high enough quality, if you want I have them recorded at CD quality in wav format, but that way it'll take up too much space...

Check your FTP in a few hours

Obin, went to your site, could hear the first two once.

Tried it again, and none of them work now? (been like this for a couple of hours).

They did sound pretty good in mp3 format though, and thanks again for the service.
