I'm planning a northern Illinois get together- Starved Rock State Park- Cookout, adult and non-adult beverages, twisties to drive and a 4 State park tour of North central Illinois.

Anyone interested?? there is more info- I'll post in a little while..

Shameless bump..
so far it's looking like ribs, beer, Coke and about 10 Porsches and 4 State parks on a spirited tour.
Mattheisen, Starved Rock, Illini and Buffalo Rock state parks. about 35 miles round trip with several 15 MPH hairpins, switchbacks and some very pretty scenery.

3rd time a charm?? anyone? I have about 10 attendees on Sat, 8/2 and 4 or so for Sunday (residuals other plans on Sat..)
Planning a 10 am (or thereabouts) start time on Sat- a 30 mile or so road course has been planned. Ribs and beer after.
There is a car show in Ottawa on Sunday 8/3 if anyone wants to participate.
Ottawa Il is just off of I-80, mile marker 90. about 8 miles east of the Illinois 39/51 and I-80 intersection.
90 miles SW of Chicago, 60 miles south of Rockford, 90 miles east of the Quad cities, and 120 miles north of Springfield, Il.
