There has been a weird whinning noise coming from my dash for the last couple of months. I think it is coming from my Temperature Sensor.
Is this possible? Is there something else that could cause a whinning noise? Thanks for the help!

There is a small fan that draws air over the temperature sensor. The bearings for this motor/fan are likely going bad. A tiny amount of Tri Flo or LPS2 would probably take care of the noise for a while.

Awsome, thanks. I was hoping it would be something easy. I assume it is easy to access. I have never removed any of the dash components before. I will tear into it as soon as I get off work.
Thanks again,
