rocker cover

Hi all,

well i replaced the gasket and seals on my rocker cover.

I then decided as it looked a bit "ruff" to paint the cover before fitting. Resparyed in Guards Red and Clear coat.

Now one thing I didnt think about was, I sprayed it using ordinary spray paint, not VHT (very high temp.)

now I fitted it it and then realised, however I gave it a nice long idle (got the car up to op. temp) fast idel etc, till the fans came on and off.

It got very hot under there, however no probs,
could I have a problem with the paint catching fire or something dangerous. (at the moment its in my garage so if need be I can always remove it next weeken(

cheers

A
