Post headliner Glue????

The headliner panel in the sunroof has lost its grip...I tried gluing the covering back with spray and liquid contact cement, but the first hot day, it came unglued.
Anyone know the correct glue to use??
Thanks

I have had the best luck on that type of work with Rubber Cement...The spray glue is good for carpets and such, but when it comes to keeping vinyl down, the rubber cement works the best...contact cement seems like it would do the trick, but I haven't had good luck with it....Purchase a small bottle that has the brush built into the cap-...best of luck!..Cus
