Cool Testarosa bodykit

well,
after readin a "911 world artcle" on a company which made a proper testarosa bodykit for a 44.

I was kinda looking aorund , maybe getting somethoughts on a similar kit, as mine is a cab, the back is rather differnt from the coupe's

think it would make mine look good (though dont know if it will still fit in the garage) also possible need wheel spacers

anyway

thoughts

ideas

cheers

A

Who makes the kit, do they have a website?

I gotta see this!

Wouldn't imagine there is enough of a market for them to make enough money off the kit to justify.

Adrian, I'm betting this idea will not be to well accepted here so better have your shields up... and REAL Teslarosa's are going for $50 to 75K on ebay, if that is what you want.

Many years ago when 240Z's were cheap and plentyfull I fooled with the idea of picking one up, putting a ferrari GTO body kit on it, and drop a Chevy V8 in it. There are still a few of those monsters out there running around.

For me I bought a 944 for the performance and I love the way it looks so you know how I would vote.

a TR kit on a '44?? not so sure I'd be willing to sacrifice a p-car for that venture, but at least it would have a bit of performance compared to most kit car donors

dude... seriously wrong....
a kit like that is meant for a rice boy working on a mid-nineties MR-2
if anything, the porsche 944 is more classic in look than a testarossa

I'm hoping that you're not serious.

That ranks right up there with the Pontiac Fiero kit to look like a Lamborghini Countach. My friend and I saw one a few years ago on the street and couldn't stop laughing.

Ever see a VW Countach? They were very popular around Los Angeles for a few years back.
Hilarious seeing them go down the street with that "ping ping ping" VW sound.

The 240Z/Ferrari stemmed from the bright idea of building a 32 Ford hot rod or a Cobra from a kit. After studying many kit car magazines I figured I could buy a built car for less than making my own (can I turbo my N/A 944?). Anyway they made a zillion body kits for the Fiero... amazing

Ha... ended up with a 944 instead.. whew, thet was close!

Put the kit on some other donor car!

Most kits use fieros - no one will cry over that.

Asking if you should replace that timing belt is like asking if you should re-use a condom that may have in hole in it with a hooker.
