Rubber center and drag racing don't mix.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

right now Performance Products is running a 20% sale.. the complete, 20 piece spring-centered Sachs kit comes to $440 after the discount... by far the best deal i've seen (I'm ordering mine on monday)

Other than the sale, Vertex auto sells the 3-piece Sachs kit for $450

In many cases you can get by with just the clutch disk and maybe a throw out bearing.

Ok I just ordered a clutch kit... it turns out that Performance Products was NOT running the sale on the complete kits (they claim that all kits are "15 % off to begin with" ?!?), so I ordered a 3-piece kit from Vertex auto.

Here's the deal: I think they misprinted the price for a 3-piece kit in EXCELLENCE for $390. This is the Power Friction heavy-duty spring clutch (equivalent to the Sachs Power Clutch), with a pressure plate and throw-out bearing. On the website, the kit is $415... still not bad, but not $390 either. I mentioned the special/misprint from EXCELLENCE over the phone, and viola! I paid only $410 for a new clutch set after tax and shipping!
