Holes in air box

would anyone not recommend drilling 1"-2" holes in my air box for more air flow? likewise, would anyone recommend doing this?

PCA tech question guy recommends it if that means anything.
Sound good to stop hydro lock
It would for sure stop the vaccum.

I would not want holes sucking in more hot air.

The key to good combustion is air/fuel. The colder the air and the fuel the better! There are rules in drag racing prohibiting refrigerating the fuel. Cold air alone can produce more HP than hot air and same goes with fuel. Now air and fuel will expand when cooled and condense when warm. So with cold air in a word is more air because of it's increased mass. And cold fires cleaner than hot.Ever notice the car runs better in cool weather?..... So if you want more air get it from the front of the car not from the engine bay where it gets very hot and dirty. Sman

Sure! put a couple of holes in the air box!

Make them about the same size as the one's in your head for even thinking of it!

There are a lot of articles that propose absolutely worthless mods.

Bottom line on the filter mods is that they "sound hot!".

You have to earn the Dumb Ass title here. Few have.
