Post replacing stock oil cooler on an 85.5 944

I've found another 85.5 that I am interested in, that the owner states overheats, and needs a new oil cooler. Is this a difficult task? Relatively speaking. Is it external? In the filter housing? I'm probably capable; as I've swapped motors and replaced the clutch in these before.

Thanks, Dean

YEs its very straight forward -- Id be suspicious of this causing the car to "overheat" though....

Thanks, I passed on the car for now, and after consulting the Haynes manual, and look on my car, it looks like it's possible to do, but it's quite a narrow work area.
