Post changing o-rings for injectors

I just bought the kits to change the o-rings on my injectors (87 924s). Has anyone done this before? How do I do this? Is it hard? Does it take long?

Hi Jason this is pretty easy, only 4 bolts hold the fuel rail on, remove them and gently pry the fuel rail off the head the whole set of injectors should come out with the rail then carefully slice the sides of the old O rings with a razor being careful not to make a cut on the injector body, use some silicone grease on the new ones and slip em on, slide the injectors back in and install the 4 bolts, now you should be able to leave all the injector wires connected as well as the fuel lines, however you will have to disconnect the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator so you dont break it..... and as always have a fire extinguisher near by, and do this on a cold engine as there might be some fuel vapors, also look and see if any of the injectors might be dribbling fuel if this looks like a possibility then use some Techroline fuel injector cleaner in the fuel tank as this might clean the injectors, and stop them from leaking............Stan
