Porsche Crest Macfreak007's new ride!*pics*

Some of you know he was rear-ended a few weeks ago. Here for the first time I present Macfreak's new wheels!!

That's right, a plymouth reliant K!

...temporary of course...

Some pics of the 944...

He's out looking for a new one right now...
Like $6500 in damage according to a mechanic.

Damn, that looks pretty bad. Then again, it looks like the 944's body structure absorbed the impact very well. Those Fuchs look very nice by the way, definately keepers. Ar they polished silver or are their centers painted gold? In the pictures it looks as though they have a golden shade of color. They look almost identical to the set of Fuchs on my car, which match the Kalahari Beige exterior. A friend of mine over here is selling his nice Zermatt Silver '86 944, but I hear that Macfreak is only looking for a red or black car, so that would not work. When Mac gets a new 944, we should all have a KY 944 get-together. I know a few people here in Lexington who would probably be interested.

Nabeel, yes the fuchs are gold painted, I think they look very good though, and I actually can I have more info about that car?

Speed Girl, can I have some info about the '87? I really need a pre '87 because those are the cars my fuchs will fit on

Technomonkey,
He was going about 50, I was stopped, It was his fault, waiting for $$

And no I don't really even feel like spending the energy to rice out the reliant, it is SOOOOOOO slow, 3 speed auto, 90hp, 0-60 in 16s if your lucky
But I can beat just about anyone in a drag race, it is untimate stealth, they just don't know that we are racing lol

Macfreak007 It's TECH not Techno.
And you need to get the breifcase NOS kit for your 90 hp beast and pump up the HP to 180.
and dont forget the SPINNERS!!!!!!!

The 944 took that like a champ "PRAISE BE TO THE AUTOBON!!!"
Did it crush the inside of the wheel wells?

I'm sorry, i just dont see the improvement from the second pictures to the first pictures :\

I hope you do get a good amount for your car. I'd hate to see someone else in the same position i was in, without the ability to reclaim the car for what it really was worth.

So far i only made like $500 from all the parts i was able to get. Although there is much more still worth the cash in your car (like the engine, for one).

hey mac. sad thing is the car looks like it was in pretty good shape before the big bang.

interesting note. did the other car's bumper climb over yours? looks like it did. I've seen that a few times already in other '44 mishaps. doesn't mean that '44 bumpers are too low, just that SUV bumpers are too high!!

Back in the 80's, most people believed that cars were meant to be driven on the road, not some vehicle called a SUV, which would ride about a foot higher than the average car's height.

BTW, if it's not evident already, I have a personal dislike for SUV for multiple reasons.

actually, I've found that it's not the SUVs themselves that I dislike, rather it's the drivers. the vast majority always say that they bought them because of how high they sit. so they can "see over stuff." I mean, now really.
