Thumbs up New Zealand Porsche pics!

hello,

a while ago mAd924 sent me these pics of a concours winning 924 from NZ. after much delay here they are:

and here's his car and some friend's cars:

pretty nice if you ask me. i'm not usually one for chrome wheels, but it looks nice on that car.

There are no flender flares, does not look like a 944.
Mideast you have seen ****ty looking 924s and you assume they are all crap.
Now look at this one, it has nothing off a 944 except a spoiler (that is bigger than a 944 one) and you say it looks like a 944!?!?!
924s are nice with a spoiler and nothign else from a 944.
Well ok fuchs maybe, but those are on 911s too so thats not froma 944 really.

I always thought that concours meant completely stock. What exactly is concours? Its a real nice 924 by the way, definitely wouldnt mind having that in my garage.

to me, that 924/968 wanna-be's bronze chrome wheels are just screaming for some black paint.

Blackfoot, speaking of all black rims, did you see the pics that I took at Hershey? I got some pics of a 944 with black cookies, it was a black car too. Kinda looked mennonite. I took the picture just for you. Here is the link. http://community.webshots.com/user/strayer15

black wheels are just what look nice, those wheels take attention away from the car, they are ok wheels but still, I like looking at the car, and the wheels are just in the corner of my eye, not the major part of the car!

Black with polished aluminum colored rims, or all black is what that car needs badly to make it just perfect.

Shaun, I'm talking about the black car with the all black cookies on it, that stray15 posted above (look real close at the door handles).

OK people, calm down...

Cokies will fit early turbos, the car pictured is a non-turbo, the dead giveaways are the brake calipers, you can see the NA calipers behind the cookies. The second is the windshield, early style. It does seem to have the late door handles, Good job with the nose conversion though.
