I see it pulling into the neighborhood...

It's stone grey, and looks to be in so good a shape, it just jumped out of a brochure printed in, 83!

Anyway, I foundout it's owned by a guy who lives 3 houses down. Original owner, who picked it up in Germany. Almost the same color as mine, but I think it's 'stone grey'. Very very nice car, I was surprised he lived close by. He said he puts less than 500miles a year on it. (his 4th car).

I asked him what broke, in 17 years, he said fuel pump, and nothing else... Not a water pump, not motor mounts... So much for common weak points. (The car now has 70+k miles on it, and not a scratch).

There's a another one in my neck of the woods, and it's a grey 86. I met the owner today, he has 120k on it with no major troubles. Just maint.

Well, I moved to my new house a short time ago, +the guy keeps it garaged, and puts less than 500 miles on it a year, so...

My boss has an '83 944 that is almost identical to mine, but his is in that same grey color. I love it when he drives the Porsche instead of his SUV or 'Vette, since the site of twin 944's in the parking lot is just so darn pretty!

I guy down the street from me at home in CT has a new Boxster and a grey-market 928S (beautiful condition). He drives the Boxster all the time, but the only time I see the 928 out is when he is washing it... never seen it on the road This is one beautiful 928, people... metalic aqua-marine (don't know the exact color's name) without a scratch on it. I just wish he would actually drive it once in awhile!
