boost enhancer

hi all, i ordered my boost enhancer form lindsy racing for my 87 951, its in the mail should be here tomorrow, anyone else have one, also i talked to one on the lindseys and he said if u have their wastegate u wouldnt need the boost enhancer, does anyone have one of those on their 951s, how does it drive with that on, i mean is it worth the extra 200 300 busck to get the wastegate or is the enhancer good enough?..ill let u know how it works too, jeff

Blackfoot has been raving about the boost enhancer lately. I have one too, and it does seem to noticeably decrease the turbo lag. There is a 944 Turbo for sale at Rennlist right now that has the Lindsey wastegate, maybe you can email the seller and ask him about it.

by using the lindsey wastegate along with one of their boost controllers (not enhancers) will allow you to control boost. the enhancer does nothing to control the amount of boost, it just makes up for a weak spring in the wastegate and bring on boost a bit earier.
