944 clutch needs bleeding or more?
My '84 944 clutch just started acting up. Have to press the pedal down to within an inch of the firewall to disengage it. Engages within an inch of the firewall when shifting.
Is the likely problem air in the system or is this a sign of a completely shot clutch? Any suggestions? |

If the clutch peddle still has about 1/8" end play and still feels firm then it might be a broken finger on the throw out bearing release arm.
