Driven!
So has anyone seen the movie? I remember Ahmet saying he was going to see it. Well...any good. Yes no? Just curious

Far fetched and for people just looking for special effects. Zero class; no wonder Formula 1 shooed Stallone away.

I completely agree, the movie was WAY over-done. I saw it with my girlfriend...she loved it, I hated it. -Trevor

It was a good movie to see as far as I'm concerned, just not worth much as far as realistically representing racing.
Overall, I'm a tad dissapointed, but I did see it three times. Ahmet ------------------ It's all the driver... |
I'm disappointed in you Ahmet. The only right thing to do would be to see Driven once and then watch Le Mans five times at home.

I'm looking forward to the Fast and the Furious. That should be way better.....even though there's more rice in there than there is in china..

Want a good car movie??? The ONLY movie is "Formula One" made in the seventies, and is two cassetes long. A great movie, true classic, and better then LeManns. MUCH better then Driven. YOu must admit, that scene in Driven where they take the cars through downtown Chicago had to make you smile!

I think I saw LeMans 3 times too. Infact, I watched it 3 times, even though through the most part I had nobody interested in watching it with me, OR pay for me to watch it.
Here's my opinion, interested in F1? Watch the real races... Interested in realistic scenes/car dynamics? Watch Ronin... You're a car guy, and you're going out to a movie? Go see driven http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/wink.gif Ahmet ------------------ It's all the driver... [This message has been edited by 1.2gees (edited 05-11-2001).] |
