I can suck air throught the top of my bypass valve....that is bad right? Also the check valve on top of the firewall, how do i test it. Also I changed my oxygen sensor. I got a universal one from paragon for the 951 and installed it and now my gas mileage is horrible. I know there is 2 different colored wires. one is solid and the other 2 are both white. I dont think it matters which way the white ones go does it? If not do you think I just got a ****ty 02 sensor? Thanks guys...

The white wires are the heater leads. The black wire is the sensor lead. DO NOT solder the black wire! O2 sensors use the sensor wire to "sample" the outside atmosphere, which is then compared to the amount of O2 in the exhaust gas. If you solder the signal lead, chances are you will seal the strands to the insulation and the sensor will not work properly.
Which check valve are you referring to?

If this is the circular valve located near the coolant reservoir, then you need to replace the valve. The valve normally remains shut. Vacuum opens the valve against a spring letting the compressed air reenter the compressor. The valve has a diaphragm in it. The nipple opens the valve. If diaphragm is torn, you are screwing up your vacuum control system.
