Post Best place to buy a 944!!!!

hey guys , where do you think is the best place to purchase a decent 944. My brother keeps asking to drive my car, so i let him. the next week he sells his truck. He has about 4000 cash for a na. where can i find one. remember small things wrong dont matter since we will be upgrading mostly everything we can on both our cars. thanks, donnie.
p.s. by the way i live in Pennsylvannia, so keep it in the surrounding states!

Did you look in your local classifieds? If that fails, check out www.traderonline.com. Do a search of your zip code for Porsches and you should find some 944's. Good luck!

Get onto the PCA homepage http://www.pca.org/ go to the regions link and click on your area of the country. They'll have regional club links. Go to these clubs and most of them have a classified section.

I found my 84 944 at www.Traderonline.com for and asking price of $1900, but got it for only $1500. I am in Ohio, so that is in your neck of the woods. The only thing that it needed was a clutch master and slave cylinder. Once that was done, I checked the clutch wear and decided to replace it. It took me about a month of checking every week until I fould one within my budget. Good hunting.

Talking

Well guys, I know about autotrader.com, excite.com,yahoo.com, and most of the majors, just wondered about any of you guys knowing personally. Tommarrow I am driving to Baltimore city(about 200 miles or so). it is an 86 with that green metalic color. 114,000miles and at those miles(over 99,00) all the maintenance work has been done. New hoses, timing belt, plugs, wires, water pump. The only flaw it has is the odometer went out( i dont care about mileage as long as they have service records for the majors) and the other thing is the paint is a little faded, but the color that it is you cant really tell. I won't disclose how much there asking until i actually purchase it. lets just say its half of what i payed for my 1985.5 944 with 62,000 on it. check out my pics of it at the link.
