Angry You wouldnt think it would cost so much to fix

Here are some pictures from the accident i had a few weeks ago. The dammage doesnt look like much but every body panel in the back half of the car was bent. and the unit body was also slightly tweeked.

I get the car back in a few days. we'll see how she feels

a view from the back.

shows the damage to the exhaust. the other car submarined under my bumper (he was doing some really heavy braking)

a view of the spare tire well shows about how hard he hit me. Drove the rim into the sheet metal on the other side of the well.

You can see how the quarter panels flexed in this shot. Also i still have my number on from the autocross that weekend. Its probably still on the car.

This is the POS that caused all this. A toyata corrola driving by some snot nozed high schooler. couldnt hvae been much over 16. His Excuse "Someone waved at me." Hes very lucky he's not dead.

But at least i get her back soon.

Ouch! Maybe he was trying to read the plate . I doubt the frame became misaligned in that accident... Can see it costing a good amount of money though. Good luck getting it fixed.

Yeah, I can't imagine what I'd do to a 16 year old little kid if he rear ended my car

Yep - The Chevy emblem is still holding on for dear life, where the grille used to be!
