Mine looks great in the cold, and shade. Once the sun hits it, it warps around the defroster vents. I am still trying to remedy that.
If they covered the useless center speaker, this problem probably wouldn't occur.

Coverlay dash cover

My experience with this dash cover is similar - mine too has warped a bit around the defrost vents. On the plus side, it still looks better than the shattered piece of eye-rot it covers.

I also had some difficulty getting it to adhere to the dash surface using their supplied silicon-based approach (as the contraction/expansion rates of dash vs. the cover materials interfere a bit).

So, for my part, I used a combination of lots of velcro strips (purchased from the local sewing supplies store) and two screws (placed at the 'ends' of the coverlay where the doors cover them when closed). This combination provides the right amount of 'stick' (i.e. the cover stays nicely in place) while eliminating negative effects of the differing expansion/contraction rates.

Regards,

DL

Mine looks really good except between the windshield and the center speaker it has lifted about an inch.

I have the behind-the-center-speaker arch as well. And it won't sit down on the corners. If I can figure out how to get the cover and the silicone off, I'm going with a dash mat. Can't be worse than the other alternatives.

i would suggest that you call them up and ask them for a copy of your invoice for tax purposes.
then after you receive the invoice, then contest the guarantee

I love my Coverlay. I ALWAYS use a foil windsheild / heat sheild. The windows are darkly tinted, and the car sits in the sun a lot, even in Vegas. I know the inside temps go crazy, but it seems that with the foil sheilds, the direct sun never gets to the cover. After 2 years, I cannot see any distortion.

I would go for it. Follow the directions religiously. I trimmed mine so there were no distortions as I was getting ready to put the silicone dots on. As I remember, the ends needed slight trimming to lay flush, and the area around the lower radio grill needed sanding to fit flush. You cannot tell mine is there unless you know where to look. I wish they would delete the radio grill as well, but done properly, it looks perfect.
