this is a great deal guys !! you are gaining a lot with this modification.
improved driveability, and plenty of "oomph" off the line! no more pushing the pedal to the floor, just to pull away at a normal speed.
put it in context, you can spend $300 on headers, and you may find a little more power, at a particular rpm, but the car will still respond the same, at takeaway. for myself, i am extremely happy with this chip, as it has made quite a difference in the overall way the car responds, especially in the low rpm range.
just my 0.10c.
bob.

Hey, when are you going to make me a chip for my Audi A4.

There is a HUGE market for them. All you have to do is make one like they already have out and have it at a cheaper price like 200.

How about it.

Will the chip work in an auto ok? I'm going to make my buddy buy one as soon as we get his car running again

How much is it for the adapter kit and a chip for an early model?

Couldn't pass up this opportunity... The new price will more than cover the cost of the soldering iron... Once I have the chip attached if anyone in the Boston area with an early 944 wants to try a chipped DME to see if its worth the hassle, just let me know I'm sure I can accomodate you.

The chip fits into your DME (computer), if you have a pre 85.5 then you will need to unsolder 4 chips and solder in the board that will accept the new chip.... If you have an 85.5 onwards then i beleive its just a straight swap.

Well that's some great news on the powerprom. Stop teasing me with the drop of price. I want it, gimmie gimmie.

Will be dropping you a line ASAP when I got the cash.

Stay safe all.
Bye.
