Need DME
Hey guys- been busy with work and haven't posted in a while. Hope everyone is doing well.
Does anyone know if the 88 model has a year-specific DME or does any post 85 1/2 DME work? I bought a bum performance chip from E-bay and it has fried my computer (for the 2nd time- I don't learn too fast). Anyone see 944 parting out anywhere other than here (I already checked Pelican classifieds and no DMEs were available). |

it has its own specific dme, just as the '89 does too.

That's what I though.
If anyone gets a lead on an 88 DME, please let me know! Thanks |

1st one came with the car- I installed the chip and about 3 months later it was out.
I found a replacement about 4 months ago at Rennlist classified and got lucky; $100 I was stupid and put the chip in again- Anyway, I think I found one for $250 at 944online.com I'm going to shop a bit more to see if I can't beat that price. |
