Hi Ahmet, hey i was reading in a porsche book that one way to increase throttle response in a NA was to move the spring on the barn door one notch looser and adjust the DME for 3% rich any ideas? this might take the place of removing metal.....I was interested in your experiment tho........Stan

I'm going to be moving the spring much more then one click, but I'll also drill holes in the 'door' to compensate.

I would think that if anything, you'd need to run the car 3% lean, to offset this. But most likely, this engine can run a bit richer (and closer to it's peak power, farther from it's peak efficiency).

if you crush your stock fuel pressure regulator from end to end you can effectivly raise your fuel pressure also, for free.
