Although on one level its absolutely horrible, on another I can't help thinking how handy and practical it would be. I could get 2 bicycles in there no trouble - right now I struggle to get one in my S2.

An S2 would make a great wagon - better than those WRX things!

I've seen uglier. I mean *****, look at anything that has come off the Hyundai production line

However, this does give me a very strange idea. A 944 with a truck bed, huh huh??? think about it, Ford had the Ranchero, Chevy had the Elcamino, and guys in japan do it with their Silvias and Skylines. OK OK OK, I will allow each of you to shoot me once for what I just said.

Call me nuts, I don't hate it TOO much. It looks finished well, sort of reminds me of that BMW M-Coupe thing they made. If they's made it slope a bit more, it would have less of a Camry-wagon back to it. But then, with a slope, isn't that what it was already? If I needed a wagon. OH- Its a Geo-Storm wagon!!! Thats what it looks like! I knew it reminded me of something. What it really needs is an orange paint job, a half-tiger half-woman, and some real stained plywood side-skirts.

The web page appears to be offering a fiberglass conversion. The actual cars are early 944's that were modified by the factory. About 25 of them. Even Dr. P drove one daily.

The conversion has a larger rear hatch than the early factory customs.

They actually appear to do excellent body work in the photos, to transition lines or waves where they mated the two pieces together.

Also I would have to second Gearheads response, I have seen plenty uglier cars than that.
