Unhappy

I wanted to get one last picture of my little "family" before they are broken up and sent on there ways.

2001 Pontiac Montana GT (Wife's New Van)
1998 Pontiac Transport "Montana" - Lease done.. heading back to GM
1995 BMW 325i - My Baby that has been sold and leaves tomorrow.
1984 Porsche 944 - My "new" baby

Thoughts?

No problem...
Shaun, I didn't pay attention to that, but he edited that post, I think it just needed the space deleted...

I like this shot... whoops burnt out BMW light. uh-oh.

This is my first Porsche. I will get some good close up shots some other time, but I feel pretty proud of it right now.

Please bear with me, this is my first try at posting a picture.

The red van has it's wheels pointed to the left as well...

Anyway, welcome to the Porsche world, and the board. Nice color for a 944 I must admit.

I know... my wife parked the van... also didn't have the rain lights on :-( bummer.

I only had 10 minutes to take about 10 shots as I had to get my oldest son to soccer practise (in the rain no less)

The color is suppos to be Metallic Platinum
It kind of looks like the color of the 928 in Risky Business. (Brown interior, blah)

I am trying to decide wether to replace the carpet and seats ,as the carpet in the hatch area is sun bleached almost purple instead of brown, and the seats are brown cloth. (I like leather better) Any one with thoughts on costs / frustration on doing this? I have absolutely no mechanical skills, so would have to pay to get it done.

nice cars (well, 2 of them)! :-) i think the 928 in risky business was a metallic blue, and it should have had black wheels.

Wink

I have the movie here somewhere, will look at the color again, but a trailer out on the net I just went and watched showed it being roughly the same colour as my car.

on my tv it looks like this color:
but in some scenes it could pass for platinum. also, as they used at least two 928's in the film, one might be a different color.

Yeah that's it...a 928 motor planted in the vans.. :-)

Oh well, did say they were my Wife's and the BMW and Porsche were mine. At least the BMW was until noon today when I pulled my plates off and said goodbye to it as the new owner drove away with it. I could have sworn I saw a tear come from its headlight. :-(
