Crankshaft

Hey y'all

Question about crankshafts. Are the 924 and the 931 identical items or is there some dicrete diffs? Can a person take one from a 924 and put it into a 931 as it is, with out updating the fly wheel end.

I know it is not a tough question and could use an answer.

The cranks are the same. I have an 80 924 turbo block and crank as a basis for the engine in my 79 n/a. All you need to do is add the pilot bearing for the n/a.
