944s Intake Manifold
So while rebuilding the engine I noticed something. On the bottom of my intake manifold there are three round covers of some sort. One had fallen off. We of course have since apoxied it back in place, but was wonder what these are for, and what would cause one to blow off?
Thanks -S

Possibly for access to clean up the casting. I'm puzzled as to why these are epoxied in rather than welded.

They are made of hard plastic - not metal. It is odd. Dunno what it's there for, so we just put it back like the others.

PO mods?
Emissions delete? New-fangled "hot air intake"?
