Vaccum Lines?
Ive been hearing that the Vaccum lines can cause a lot of problems, and also cause a rough idle. My car has a rough idle and i want to check the Vaccum lines. The only problem is I don't know where they are... the owners manual dosent say anything. Im still new to Porsches, just started about 2 months ago. If anyone can tell me where they are, that would be great!
BTW- Im loving these forums, its full of nice and helpful people! |

What year did you say your car is?
Be helpful and add it to your signiture line. I have a few diagrams I can post that will show you.

the other day i noticed the one that goes to the brake booster had fallen out. it had been like that for a while. i just sorta put it back in the y connector thing and closed the hood. i dont notice any difference with the car. what does it do?
and would replacing all those little maroon colored vaccum line with pretty colored ones cause any problems? hmmm, pretty colors....

Walker I have a few vacuum diagrams for the turbo's. They have a couple of different configurations especially if you throw in boost controllers, dual port wastegates, the octopus delete version for the 86 underneath the intake............ etc

There should be no problem swappin out the vh lines. I'm planning on using the Silicone Vacuum Hoses (SVH) from this company: http://www.hosetechniques.com/ and probably their intake hoses as well. Hmmm Pretty colors
