what year is it? The dash must be prior to 85.5 but it looks different than the 85 and prior I've seen, I think, at least the instruments.

Whomever painted it needs a lesson in masking off moldings. Unless they are all supposed to be yellow.....

trying to be quiet but WOW, that's a lot of yellow. As for style, to each his own but for me, the rims have to go all black... get a cover for the dash, they are way inexpensive and will help to improve the look of the car.

Most of all, thanks for sharing pics of your car and being open to letting others express their opinions about your car.

thanx for all your input guys i purchased her back in august not running. the car was yellow already. i didnt like the color at first, now i love it. it was originally silver. i plan on getting a dash pad as the dash is cracked all over. as for the wheels i would like to get boxter 16" 5 spoke when i have the money, meanwhile painting the rims all black is a good idea. the bra is on because the paint on the spoiler is chipped and cracked. i added the "diehard" sticker as i thought it fit as my friend and i ressurected her from the dead i really dont want to put more money in the car as i want to save up for a turbo (951).

Well--- it certainly is yellow. I especially like the catholic accelerometer hanging from the rear view. Really, I like the color, but the wheels are a bit overboard. Have you done anything under the hood as well?

Not knowing the paint condition or amount of body work plus not knowing the general mechanical condition, it's tough to guess-tamate. Your parts cost could be factored in...

whats the condition of the..
clutch
timming belts etc
brakes
AC
tires
interior

the color and theme is great, an adjustment to the rim's would help the visual as well as a dash cover...off the top, I'd say you may be looking at $2,500 to $3,000 max...

i put new fuel pump, f.p. relay, cap & rotor, spark plugs and wires, 3-peice clutch kit, speed ref and o2 sensors, tires, steering wheel, rear shocks, front mask. i will be putting in new timing/balance belts in soon. paint is fair, interior is good. c'mon guys give me a good estimate on what she's worth

I may have overlooked it, but what year is it? The problem with Porsches is that 1000 in parts doesn't equal much. A car with 190,000 miles is very high. We all know that when properly cared for a 944 can do much more. But not many other's know this. I sold my 944 when I got my Jetta. Mine had around 200,000 on the clock. It was a terrible mistake and I learned from it. The best thing I can suggest to you is to keep it and save up a little longer for a 951. As far as an estimate goes, you're looking at 2500 tops I'd say.
