Post Type of oil

What type of oil do you use in your 944? I use 15W45 in my '83 944, do you think this is a good oil, or should I be using something else?

I'm using 5W-30. On my next change I'll use only MOBIL Synthetic.

I have been using Penzoil /w/ "penzane" 10/30 <-spelling? Anyway here in Athens GA it can get nasy hot. The stuff seems to do as it claims my temp is always solid on the second bar, unless at idle.
