You can get them from any auto parts shop, or even the car wash place, they fit very nicely on the door, in the window slit.

i put my coffee between my leg and the center console. the seat belt helps hold it up. it is much better on my cars without sport seats though.

Performance Products and Tweeks has a cup holder specially made for Porsches....It replaces the armrest pad on your console...When closed it it an armrest pad, and it opens into two cup holders...It's a great idea....I plan to get one someday...but I'm not ready to shell out the $89 as yet..... If anyone has one of these, I'd like to know if they are worth the clams....thanks, Cus

89?? DAMN!!!!! If you're gonna get one of those it should only be as the replacement to your busted arm rest. If it came down to it I would go ghetto and just get a universal one from walmart or something.

They are pretty standard drink holders. I've seen them for BMW, and Mercedes too should be able to find the holders and make your own arm rest for alot less than $89

I have those center console cup holders on my 944. Except I didn't shell out $90. I went to your local Pep Boys or Wal Mart and bought two of those folding cup holders that go in your window still. I then cushined and covered with leather to match the interior of my car and placed both on my arm rest using double stick tape.

I'll try to get some pictures posted.

I bought an adjustable holder (2 plastic u shapes that adjust to the size of cup/can) at wal-mart for a couple bucks and used velcro to attach it on top of the ash tray. It fits perfect. But you do have to raise your elbow a little bit while shifting.

I picked one up at the local Pep Boys that has an insert that slips into the passenger seat slot (between the seat and back). The cup holder is adjustable, and it's easy to reach when driving. It just won't work unless you're alone.

I have one just like what lousailor mentioned. It actually works pretty good. But he's right, you can't use it with a passenger. I got mine at AutoZone here in Denver for around $5.00.

I'm trying to find the parts (ie. flip up cup holder) that I can either put in the cassette holder or that I can replace the cassette holder with.

Has anyone seen anything that fits that description, other than the $90 thing mentioned above?

Cool

I drink my coffee really, really fast and scorch my tongue and throat as I do a 20m dash to my car cos I'm running late...again!
Just an excuse to drive like mAdman, lol. If I'm running early I'll take the longer way to work- road has more corners !!

I live up near El Cajon, but work at the base on Coronado. My dad gave me a '87 924S as pay back for letting my folks live with me for over half of last year after they sold their house. I owned a '78 924 in college, and kept it till it nearly died. I was scoping the classifieds for a good deal and he surprised me after I returned from being at sea a couple of months. If I stay local I start some serious updating, but I may move back east soon.
