Hey guys. Ive got to replace the left rear wheel bearing when I get off work, how long do you think it will take? I was guessing that it would only take 2 to 3 hours. The local Corvette club has an Auto-x in the morning and I want to go play too. Help me out guys.

KC,
Good Luck. If you don't have a big impact, you'll need an 8 or 10 ft peice of 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 pipe to break the nut loose. Pipe & pipe couplings are good for driving bearings & seals. That big cotter pin, can be hard to get a new one early in the morning. drew1 |

Hey all, I ended up having to remove the control arm and pressing the outer race of the bearing out. Man that sucked. On the road again!
