Ive seen mint green on a 944 which is a porsche factory color. I dont know if the owner painted the 944 mint green and it was an option on other cars or the 944 came from the factory mint green. Here is a better picture of that color:

Andre-

In the documents that I have, I only see two other greens. One was called Ihasa Green Metallic (LA6V) and it was optional in 1982. The other was called Nile Green Metallic (LY6Y). It was a special color in 1987 & 1988.

If anyone knows of others, I'm sure that they'll post them.

of course it is just a matter of opinion, but i really like that color on the 944. i feel that it really brings out the lines. the color code should be on a sticker under the hood and again in the trunk. any official porsche center can however give you all of the factory options and codes from the V.I.N. though.

it is an 86 so i'm guessing it could not have the Nile Green metallic and doubt it has the Ihasa Green Metallic, whats the actual NAME for lm6y?

I agree with you carter, i never knew it existed but i fell inlove i think its defenetly one of the best colors for 944
