When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

I was wondering if you were thinking of the extra space below the radio in the vertical section of the console.

as soon as its ready Ill send pictures.......but not yet......in a few months....I need some parts first.......and make the engine mounts for the supras engine......The better part is that the weight relation its not afected cause Im changing all the torque tube and gear box so it remains 50/50.....I hope....

Hey Wardog.... my dad is in Santiago visiting some relatives....

Did you say you are planning on transplanting a Supra engine into the 944?

If you're using the 3 litre turbo (I had one for a few years) I think you'll be hard pressed to squeeze it all in under the bonnet (hood) - there is a lot more of it than the Porker - an extra two cylinders for a start. Are you planning to cut back into the firewall? I'd love to see the pics when it's done.

if there is enough room for a V8 350, there should be enough for a 3000cc V6......Im looking for the engine dimensions for the conversion......

Perhaps Im missing something here?

What exactly do you hope to gain by doing this? Seems that you are going to have to modify many things just to get it to work, and spend much time/money in a steep learning curve, parts, mods, and busted knuckles, to gain more HP/torque.

If thats what youre after, you may want to check out some of the motors/mods here. I think you will find them much easier fit in your car!

Good luck, and use the force Luke!

Quite so - and you won't be needing any of that NOS Tomfoolery either -150 mph comes up frighteningly easy in the old Supra; you don't want to be blowing up that excellent engine with all that street-racer's fiddle faddle.
