It's official - just put the 944 on E-bay

Well after months of debate, I finally put the 944 on E-bay.

I'll still be around daily, this is the best forum on the interenet I have ever been on, but it looks like for a while I will be 944-less.

You can all view the auction here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2435916655&category=6434

If a forum member would like to make me an offer I will be willing to end the auction and sell it here. I really want her to go to a good home.

Thanks everyone,

Brian, that is an awesome example of a 944. Why in the world are you selling it?

Hi everyone,

Selling the car because I started a new business last spring, and although everything has been going great, I have no idea how winter will be. I always plan for the worst, and everything could be fine, but having the extra cash if things are slow would help out a great deal.

Thanks for the compliments, I really do love this car but...

It sucks to have to sell your toys. A few years ago I had to sell my Harley to help with the start up expenses of my new business. March 1, 2004 will be 5 years. I bought a new Harley about 2 years ago. Bought a used porsche about one month ago. Things have gotten pretty good again.

Yep - but I know it will be worth it in the long run. I've been working my way up for years to finally own my own team, and even if winter is good, I need to buy some equipment that will make my life a lot easier.

I still have two motorcycles, and my full size chevy pickup, so it's not all bad... :-)

Honestly, one of the best benefits of buying the 944 was finding this board. I'll still be around.
