Question do a have a leaky rear cam cover

I have a slow, persistant oil leak. It looks like it is coming from rear of cam cover, passenger side. Oil has run down block, no oil stain from the top view. Leak appears to be on back 2-3 inches of block.

I figured it is cam/valve cover but should I look at other sources?

thanks

my 944 has a leak back there too, and it is a fresh rebuild done on the engine. Since I am installing a turbo head gasket on the engine I am going to pay close attention to see where the front and rear of the cam housing is leaking from.

the cam gasket is real easy to mess up. I also have a leak there but I know why because I tore the gasket when it went in. I am going to port and polish a new head and replace it then.
