Tps?!?!?!?

Yeah I've got a 1987 924S my mechanic and I aren't really sure if my Throttle Position Sensor is out. It started when I push on the gas the car starts to chug in all the gears like I don't know how to drive a manual almost. You can't get the rpm's past about 2500 or so without them jumping up and down. It idles fine, but when we tried unlplugging the TPS while it was running it did nothing when we reved it up. It's hard to find someone that can do a diagnostics test for a Porsche where I live, does anyone know if it is forsure the TPS or maybe some other problem, please let me know asap, thanks...

Garage
Sounds like fuel delivery and/or pressure problems.

I take it your mech doesn't work on these cars often.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?
