Andre:
Do you subscribe to Excellence magazine? Their last issue (June 2001?) has a whole article on electronics, including power seat switches for the 944! You can pick up a copy at any good bookstore (Barnes & Noble, Borders...etc). It will help you tremendously! And definately subscribe. I have heard that the power seat switch can be replaced, but it's a dog to get at, and a bit expensive. Good luck! -Z-man. PS: I pick up my S2 today!!! Yahoooooo! |

The whole procedure is in 928 FAQ. See page: http://homepages.apci.net/~slyjay/Page6.html I just did this couple of weeks ago and it was pretty easy. Contacts inside the switch were badly corroded but cleaning them with electric contact cleaner made them shiny and nice again. The seat works perfectly now. Kimmo '86 944 (euro) |
